Martinsville ranks 10th on the list with a 46.18% average. The track experienced some huge playoff moments in the late 2010s, but recent Martinsville races have frustrated fans as the Next Gen car has produced single-groove, playoff drama and difficult-to-pass racing.

The Roval came out swinging in 2018, but the excitement hasn’t lasted. Fans got fed up with the Roval’s Next Gen racing, tight layout, and crash-filled playoff races, with many feeling the traditional Charlotte oval simply puts on a better show.

Phoenix has become one of the most criticized flat tracks in the Next Gen era. Passing has been tough, and package issues have made races here frustrating for fans, especially when it hosted the championship finale.

New Hampshire has never been an easy sell for fans wanting action. Its flat layout makes passing tough, often turning races into a snooze-fest, though recent Next Gen races have shown some improvement.

Pocono has often left fans cold, with its tricky layout often leading to single-file racing, hard-to-find passes, and long green-flag runs that can test your patience.

The Indianapolis oval ranks second-worst with a 71.51% average. The biggest reason for the hate is that the track has narrow, flat turns and delivers difficult-to-pass racing.

Texas takes the unwanted No. 1 spot with a 71.86% average, becoming one of NASCAR worst tracks. It has been a tough sell for fans, especially since the 2017 redesign made passing harder and races more forgettable, leaving many wondering where the excitement went.
